Project ABO-X03

Class of 2026 Creative Coding

Welcome to ABO-X030303 by Aaron Pettiford. You wanna see something visually appealing? You came to the right place! Here you can see stuff like After Effects, and Autodesk Maya all while showcasing my technical capabilities in these programs.

The Show Must Go On!

This project is powered by a few mediums to make any of this animation fever dream possible. That includes After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and Maya.

Adobe Suite

Used Photoshop for Editing Textures

Used Illustrator for making textures and editing the logo textures for my scenes in Maya for the 3D Race Sequence.

Used After Effects for animating some 2D inspired video game and visualizer sequences. I added layers and then turned some in 3D to help convey parallax scrolling, and added effects to objects to replicate things like shooting stars, action, vice versa.

Used Animate for the 2D segment such as paint swoops, and action packed ones.

Used Premiere Pro to turn the Maya Video Frames into a mp4 file.

Autodesk Maya

I used this Maya for the 3D Segment for the racing sequence, dust and powder sequence, and the train sequence.

Contact

Hello, I’m Aaron Pettiford. I’m a multidisciplinary designer, specializing in animation, digital media, VFX and 3D Modeling. I feel influenced by all sorts of media around me and love putting my creativity to express my passion.

What I learned

What I learned while making my project is not only preparedness and perfection, but to always finalize an idea to make it work but meets expectations. I also learned is to do your best in what you can in certain areas. Not only that, but to always keep revising something before it’s finished. In the midst of the project, I used A.I to help me come up with designs such as the Apple Bike and PC Bike
