Motion Graphics

During my fall semester, I focus my work on Motion Graphics. To start this project I learned After Effects to create 5 motion graphic videos. Personal Logo Process

When first creating my own personal logo, I had to think about what I wanted to represent me and my work. I want to work within the social media and film industry. Within Illustrator I created 5 Mock Logos.

From the 5 logo designs I settled on one design and made a storyboard showing the motion of the logo

From the Storyboard I created a animated logo in After Effects that followed the motion. From this first pass I received feedback on areas to improve the animation that I have made

Lastly, I finalized the animation and added an inky transition in the beginning. I also added sound effects to enhance the movement of animation

Visual Effects

First I find my assets or film my own, and get a good green screen so that I can key it out

Here is an example of my process when it comes to making a Visual Effect

Then I take the green screen footage and key out the green color trying my best to have a good outline on my actor

Finally, I add lighting to make a more dynamic shot and blend the actor into the background. I color correct assets to make them blend into the environment. On top of it all, I add grain so everything blends together.

Demo Reel

During My Spring Semester I crafted various Visual Effects (VFXs) short videos to build my skill in compositing, rotoscoping, and editing. I Made 5 short VFX shots and put them into a demo reel. The Visual Effects were made with the Adobe Suite, mainly After Effects.

Then I add my assets into the scene making sure it looks right with the perspective and blurring and sharping assets

I’m a multimedia artist with a multitude of skills ranging from motion graphics, graphic design, illustration, animation, and so much more! I’m currently pursuing a BA in Interactive Multimedia and Communications with a minor in Marketing. I love editing, art, and film.
