World Lore
The Jupiter Coalition world is part of a Sci-fi world that I have been using as a game setting for many years now. However, this game deviates from the normal theme slightly. The usual Jupiter Coalition world is defined by spaceships that look like Maritime Sailing Vessels, whereas the Void pushes this theme closer to the age of IronClads.
Jupiter Coalition: The Void is set in the late 2300s, Humanity as reached the stars, and as a result many differing factions have sprung up. In this world, each planet has a central government, with entire Star Systems, or groups of Star Systems being divided among rival factions.
Space Exploration is still in its infancy, and new Star Systems, and Jump Gates are being found all the time. You never know what type of Star System you may end up in. Faster Than Light Travel, or FTL is accomplished by using the gravitational dip of a Star System to fling a ship out of this one into another Star System. This does mean that FTL has a limited range, and Star Routes are necessary t

State Of The Game
At present, Jupiter Coalition: The Void is in an unfinished state. There are many features that I would have liked to have for the ShowCase but was unable to implement in time.
Current features include:
Explorable Section of a Procedurally Generated Galaxy with 50+ unique star systems and 250+ planets
Each planet has their own asteroid fields, space stations, and rival ships for you to explore, trade with, or fight
Space Stations have 4000+ (not including color variations) unique variations. Dock with one of these for ship customization options
Planets have [Unknown Quantity: Too Many to Calculate] possible variations, ensuring that no two star systems are ever quite the same.
About The Game
Jupiter Coalition: The Void is an open world, RPG style game. You control a customizable spaceship, to complete missions, interact with the NPC factions (maybe even earning a letter of charter), or just explore the procedurally generated star systems.
Your ship is your own. Choose from a variety of modular ship parts to build a ship that works for you. Choose your hull and trim color, and select a style that works for you. Customization is cosmetic, and won’t affect gameplay giving you more freedom. In addition to the cosmetics, you can upgrade the parts of your ship, improving your ships performance, and giving you module hard-points within wh
Here’s the twist, the world is an ongoing simulation, ships will move, factions will expand into new territories, and the economy shift. All without player intervention. Individuals, ships, and factions will react to the player but ultimately, the world is its own, ever changing, simulation.
