How they’re made
When creating the designs, I had to sketch them out first. Once I felt I had a good design to work with, I put the design into Illustrator. I then separated each color by using the various tools in Illustrator. After I had all the layers, I exported each layer as an SVG.
After I had all the SVGs exported, I put them in Cricut Design Space. I made all of these designs using the Cricut Machine in the Makerspace. Through there, I just let the machine do its job and cut the papers based on their shape and size. I then put all of those papers and stacked them into the shadowboxes and stuck them together using these thick double-sided foam squares to create the three-dimensional effect.
