Why I Made This Game
Escape Through Time started as my senior thesis, but really it was a way to bring together everything I enjoy like 3D modeling, environment design, and game development.
I have always loved the idea of games where the environment tells the story, which is why I built this around exploration and puzzle solving.
I created all my assets inMaya, textured them inSubstance Painter, and built the gameplay inUnity.
This project reflects the kind of work I want to keep doing. It pushed me to think beyond just creating assets and focus on how everything works together. I also learned how important it is to balance visual design with gameplay, making sure the environment not only looks good but actually guides the player’s experience.
