This past summer my dad suddenly passed away one day shy of my parents 22nd anniversary. While trying to come up with an idea for my thesis project, I could not stop thinking about my dad’s passing. This sparked the idea of creating a video that follows my life for nearly a year after his death. The video will follow me through life events, daily tasks, and and the harsh realities of the loss of a loved one. My goal is to give myself an outlet to express the feelings and experiences I am going through while allowing others who have also experienced loss to connect with the video and feel less alone.
