About Me & My Project

In a visual montage created on Adobe Premiere Pro, I was able to dissect home video tapes that my parents had stored for over 20 years. None of my family has touched or been able to watch due to the camera being broken.

In my senior project, ‘Digital Footprints’ is able to explore how media and technology changes as I grew up with it in a digital space. Reflecting on times captured through the lens of my father’s video camera, versus the media I am currently capturing through the device on my back pocket, and ever more.

Along with my projected video, which I hope pulls the heart-strings for others, as it did myself, the installation surrounds a collage in a reflection of self fulfilment and manifestation. On one side, a bigger focus on my past and the things that shaped me, and on another, the ideas of my future and a compass for my dreams.
